Sailor {10 Days New} | Sarasota Newborn Photographer

Sweet baby Sailor was a joy to photograph! She was wide awake for awhile, but after looking around and taking in her brand new world for a bit, she started yawning and became quite sleepy!

Sleepy enough to capture what I affectionately call the newborn hammock pose (but rest assured, safety is always my number one priority when working with precious newborns, and hands were on baby Sailor at all times). This photograph is a composite image where I combined two different images together to make it appear as if baby Sailor is in the hammock sleeping solo, and the result is this beautiful portrait of this sweet baby girl!

Sailor slept the rest of her session away…

This is another composite image, combining two different images together to make it appear as if Sailor is resting in this “froggy” pose.

Such a sleepy little lamb! This is one of many newborn bonnets that I hand knitted myself. I love to create the hats and headbands that I use for the precious newborns and babies I photograph. Knitting is my second passion, next to photography, of course.

Congratulations on your precious baby girl, mom and dad!

I am always honored to photograph a brand new person and all of their sweet little details, as we all know that newborns grow so quickly! Welcome to the world, Sailor!
